Jasme Bantens
Vice President/Director, Digitas
Ms. Bantens is Vice President/Director of Strategy and Analysis at Digitas. For the past 15 years, she has been at the forefront of the evolving media landscape, leading blue-chip clients in a wide range of markets and helping them generate revenue and ROI. Prior to entering the digital space, she developed her knowledge at traditional agencies. Ms. Bantens holds an MA in Marketing from The New School and a BA in Communications from Hunter College.
David Bates
Shareholder, Gunster
In addition to his role as shareholder in Gunster, Mr. Bates is Co-Chair of the firm’s Technology and Entrepreneurial Companies Practice Group. He was named “Key Law Partner” for South Florida by the South Florida Business Journal, and has been repeatedly selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America for Technology Law. Mr. Bates earned both his JD and MBA from Tulane University. He also received a BSBA from the University of Florida.
Madeline Berges
Vice President, Interval International
Ms. Berges is Vice President of Online Marketing and Communications for Interval International, one of the world’s leading timeshare companies. A seasoned marketer with more than 20 years of experience in the leisure, travel and tourism industry, she began her career with Royal Caribbean Cruises and later served as Marketing Manager for the Cruise Line International Association and Cunard Line. Ms. Berges holds a BS in Business Administration from Barry University.
Jay Berkowitz
CEO, Ten Golden Rules
Mr. Berkowitz is the Founder and CEO of Ten Golden Rules, a B2B Internet marketing agency specializing in online advertising and marketing consulting services, and host of the Ten Golden Rules of Internet Marketing Podcast. He has more than 20 years of marketing experience, and has led marketing efforts for Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, AT&T and Sprint. Mr. Berkowitz holds a BA in Administrative Studies from the University of Winnipeg.
Sheryl Cattell
CMO, Time4Learning
Ms. Cattell is the CMO at Time4Learning, a leading provider of curricula for homeschooled students at the pre-K through eighth-grade levels. She has more than 20 years of marketing expertise, helping organizations such as Bluegreen Resorts, eDiets and Travelocity define their brand and expand their market share. Ms. Cattell holds an MBA from Central Michigan University and a BA in Public Administration from Michigan State University.
C.C. Chapman
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, The Advance Guard
Mr. Chapman describes himself as a Boston-based “media maven, photographer and digital dad.” His new media consultancy, The Advance Guard, creates marketing programs using emerging technology and community platforms. Mr. Chapman is also Founder of DigitalDads.com and Host/Producer of the Managing the Gray business podcast and Accident Hash music podcast. Mr. Chapman holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
Todd Farmer
Founder and CEO, PerformStreet Media
Mr. Farmer is Founder and CEO of PerformStreet Media, which encompasses a media network of distribution entities and a marketing and technology consulting firm. He previously founded Kowabunga! Marketing, Inc., one of the industry’s first affiliate tracking and management software providers and creator of the Kolimbo affiliate network portal. In 2005, he sold Kowabunga to CGI Holding Corporation. Mr. Farmer holds a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
Kathryn Katz
Internet Marketing Manager, Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Inc.
In her current role at Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Ms. Katz applies Internet marketing strategies to company websites and manages SEM vendor relationships. She previously served as Director of Search Engine Marketing for Ten Golden Rules, and her prior experience includes technical support and web copywriting. Ms. Katz holds a BA in English from Florida Atlantic University.
Michael Kelly
Director of Business Development, ClickMail
As Director of Business Development, Mr. Kelly focuses on developing strategic alliances and driving revenue for ClickMail. He is also responsible for the company’s email service provider (ESP) vendor partnerships. Mr. Kelly has more than 13 years of sales and business development experience in the permission-based broadcast messaging arena, and serves on the Board of Directors at the DMA of Northern California.
Jim Kukral
Founder, The Biz Web Coach
Mr. Kukral (“The Biz Web Coach”) is an award-winning blogger, teacher, professional speaker, author, Web entrepreneur and business consultant. For more than 12 years he has worked with hundreds of clients to help them leverage social media and achieve online success. He is also the CEO of YourPitchSucks.com and Founder of Scratchback.com. Mr. Kukral received his BS in Public Relations from The University of Akron.

Mr. Laratro heads up Tandem Interactive, a consultancy that develops online marketing strategies to drive bottom-line results. His company specializes in local search marketing, pay-per-call lead generation services, blogging, analytics, conversion consulting, public relations and more. Terry Miller
Manager of Channel Marketing and Systems, Citrix Systems, Inc.
Ms. Miller is an award-winning marketing professional with a 25-year track record of helping businesses to accelerate incremental sales through data mining, email marketing and viral marketing. She specializes in developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies, targeting external audiences through direct and indirect channels. Ms. Miller holds an MBA in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University and a BS in Business Management from Barry University.
Gordon Montgomery
Founder & Owner, G|META
In addition to running G|META, an international information design consultancy, Mr. Montgomery serves as Practice Manager for User Experience Design at Neudesic. His work involves synthesizing linguistics, usability, accessibility and information architecture to create well-structured, easy-to-use designs. Mr. Montgomery holds an MSc in Software Engineering from Napier University and a BA in French (Linguistic Studies) from Southampton University.
Christopher S. Penn
Vice President of Strategy and Innovation, Blue Sky Factory
Mr. Penn oversees the marketing efforts of Blue Sky Factory, adding insight and direction to strategic product development. He is co-founder of the PodCamp New Media Community unConference and co-host of the Marketing Over Coffee podcast. In his former role as CMO of Edvisors, he produced the award-winning Financial Aid Podcast. Mr. Penn received an MS in Information Science from the Boston University School of Management and a BS in Political Science from Franklin & Marshall College.
Lisa Picarille

Ms. Schneider oversees the daily management of Ten Golden Rules and is part of a team that focuses on leading-edge Internet strategies for nationally recognized clients. She previously served as Director of Media Services for Medical Staffing Network and was a Web Development Project Manager and Online Marketing Strategist for Fusive. Ms. Schneider earned a BA in Liberal Arts from Florida Atlantic University.
Ravi Seepersad

In his role as Corporate Counsel for Bisk Education, Mr. Seepersad has personally negotiated hundreds of diverse and complex Internet marketing agreements. His prior experience includes litigation, software licensure and regulatory compliance. Mr. Seepersad holds a JD from the University of Miami Law School, as well as an MS in Human Resource Development and Administration and a BS in Exercise Physiology from Barry University.
George Straschnov
Vice President for Strategic Development and General Counsel/Corporate Secretary, Bisk Education
Mr. Straschnov oversees legal matters – including Internet advertising and marketing – for Bisk Education. He previously served as General Counsel for a business technology integration services provider and was President and Principal of an Internet publishing startup. Mr. Straschnov earned his JD from Valparaiso University School of Law. He also holds an MA in English from Georgetown University and a BA in English from Colgate University.
Anna Talerico

Ms. Talerico oversees client marketing programs at ion interactive, an online marketing company specializing in post-click marketing and conversion optimization. She works with a diverse range of clients from startups to enterprise organizations like American Greetings, Citrix Systems and P&G. Ms. Talerico also sits on the Advisory Board of the eMarketing Association. She holds a BA in Social Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.
Robert C. White
Equity Shareholder, Gunster
Mr. White is an attorney within the Technology and Entrepreneurial Companies Practice Group and Corporate Practice Group at Gunster. He provides strategic counseling in the areas of technology law, venture capital and private equity law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance law and corporate governance. Mr. White holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, as well as an MBA in Finance and BS in Biology from Emory University.

Ms. Zirkelbach is an attorney within the Technology and Entrepreneurial Services Practice Group at Gunster, a leading business law firm based in Florida. She provides strategic counseling and negotiates transactions in the areas of technology, Internet, interactive marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and privacy and security. Ms. Zirkelbach earned her degrees – a JD, an MBA and a BA in International Business – with honors from Stetson University.
